Hi. :-) Does anyone know what Philips are plannign to do with regards to an iDTV for the NZ MArket?
I spoke to someone in their Customer Service office a few months ago and was told that there would be something in Oct, and the other day I got hold of a Catalogue dated July 2008, but couldn't find anything relating to an iDTV. I've already got a Philips HDD DVD Recorder and I find that it just makes life so much easier if you stick to the same Manufacturer for your TV and DVD equipment. At tne moment, I don't have Freeview at all, I'm holding out for an iDTV, and am also making do with a CRT TV, so am feeling *very* "old school". (I really wand a flash new Telly, but I don't want to waste my money on something that's going to be obselete almost as soon as I've bought it.)
Also, someone told me that Philps were getting out of the Aust/NZ TV market due to low sales. IS ther any truth to this? Doe anyone know?  
If anyone out there has any info for me, then I'd be grateful.
