Hi, I just recently changed from SKY to Freeview (after realising that the only Sky program I watched was Curb Your Enthusiasm which I could just rent) and went out and bought a Zinwell ZMX-7500. The only issue with it so far is that you are unable to book programmes to come on, which is always useful for recording things when you go away.

Am I missing something or is it available in a firmware update? Thank for any replies Smile

That unit is not a PVR. I presume you have it hooked up to an analogue TV HDD recorder?

There are PVRs for satellite.

Are you sure you're not in the Freeview|HD broadcast zone?

Nope not in the HD zone, I'm in Marlborough. I've got it hooked up to a VCR. I'm assuming if you have a decoder with a built in recorder you can get it to switch to certain programmes?

I don't understand what you're trying to say. The best solution for your situation would be a dual tuner satellite PVR that records to the internal hard drive. There are a couple of units to choose from.

You can also get Australia Network and BBC World if you get another satellite.
