Standby light on the receiver flashes red to green at two second intervals.Displays "no channel"

Receiver acknowledges channels being tuned in,but will not retain them.

I am presuming some capacitors on the main circuit board may require replacing, but am not sure which ones.

Unfortunately I am unable to include my photograph of the Coship's circuit board.

Any suggestions are very welcome,

Thanks Numen.

I'm pretty sure I had the exact same Satellite receiver do exactly the same thing a couple of months back. Perhaps the components inside were only built to last until around about now.
Didn't even bother trying to fix it. Wasn't worth it, really.

Problem cured-the ever helpful Lars at Freeviewshop advised symptoms suggested a software fault.

I installed their Software Version 1:2:1 in place of 1:1:6

Am not sure whether G.M.T. application and channel sorting are 100% but STB owner happy with the free service. Numen.
