Due to issues having multiple devices accessing Xtra using Pop
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=39&topicid=128635

I'd appreciate some advice on a new provider. The friend I'm helping requires access to email via 3 devices Outlook, iPhone and iPad, my preference is to use hosted Exchange with Activesync and I would prefer the provider is NZ based and has decent IT support. But I'm open to any other suggestions..

Thanks in advance

Office 365.

Not hosted in NZ but it is a very good product.

Are you or your customer cool with paying more to have it hosted in NZ?

~$5 a user a month for a 25GB hosted Exchange mailbox is a hard price to beat.

Is it a personalised domain email address or just an @xtra.co.nz address?

Looking to move away from xtra.co.nz and setup new domain and Ok to pay extra as long as Service, Reliability and Support also match the extra cost

We whitelabel Internedia's services. Awesome support and communication. More reliable than 0ffice 365 and less if a pain in the rear to manage IMHO.

Google App is my recommendation. Tried Office 365 and hated it, thats juts my opinion though. Google Apps used to be free for businesses with 5 or less accounts.

Hi, no longer free <5 users, but at US$50/seat/yr its well worth it.

Outlook.com is free even for your own personalised domain.
And it uses Exchange Activesync.

OneNet, about $14 a month, but NZ based, excellent service and support. I'd pay an extra $10 a month for that in a heartbeat.

Another +1 for Google Apps. Have used it for business over the last 7 years and it's been awesome
