I'm in Chch, I can download it for you. How long are you going to be in Chch?

I'm not sure if there is any need to request for product key or not though.

Please PM me with your contact or how long you'll be in Chch, and I'll try to get it downloaded and burnt onto DVD ASAP.

Best at 488KB/sec... and almost all those 2.5hrs of download time would come as a waste as I was tad short of space for stupid IE to copy from its Temporary Internet File over to it's final place...

I'll double check its integrity and hopefully it is all safe and sound.

[This is starting to look like my log for keeping track of this download...]

Chiefie's log, earth-date 200711281210:

It seems like downloading a 3.82GB of ISO image over the TelstraClear 10Mbps/2Mbps which only took 2.5hrs at the peak-speed of 488KB/sec is the best part of the whole download experience... with a little scare pulled by the Windows Explorer complaining that there isn't enough space to copy the download from the Temporary Internet Files folder to its final destination. With a bit of file clearing to make a wee bit more room for this stupid Internet Explorer's file download mechanism, it starts to "move" it out to the rightful place.

However, this process is taking longer than preferred timeframe... it fluctuates between 10mins to 120mins, which doesn't seem to give a stable time indication.

I will continue monitor this frustrating finding and hopefully the process will complete without any further hiccup.

Chiefie's log, earth-date 200711281231:

The whole process is completed in 3 hours 1 minute and 59 seconds, which include the long-process of copying the file from its temporary location to the rightful place.

I have yet able to check the integrity of the ISO image, as I cannot find the CRC checksum for the file. I guess the only way to find out is by burning it into a DVD and test it out that way.

End log.
