Have Direct Fiber connection to Vodafone (business), used to be Telstraclear

For years we had our internal DNS servers forwarders set with 203.97.78.43 and 203.97.78.44 but not too sure if they are still the best to use to get us the fastest DNS queries

Would someone know? Could not find anything on their web site but for home users.

Thanks

If it's a PPPoE connection then just use the automatically assigned server addresses.

As far as I'm aware 203.97.78.43/44 is still active and preferred for any connections that remain on the 'blue' ex-TelstraClear side.

Are you are able to disclose the name of the plan you are on?

GRC.com has a DNS benchmark utility that runs under Windows. Input your own DNS servers and run the benchmark. Sorry, no IPv6 tests.

These are the servers I test against.

Thanks

Sounds like 203.97.78.43 and 44 are still OK to use. We are not on broadband but on fibre. Don't think we have a plan name.

from the benchmark and also traceroute, it still seems to be the faster.

Trying to figure out what is the best to use, not only for speed but for reliability as we often have domains that do not resolve properly, but do when using 8.8.8.8 for example

20100: We are not on broadband but on fibre.

Broadband just means high-speed internet access. Fibre, DSL, cable, and wireless are all mediums which can be used to deliver broadband.
