Checkd all stores no onehas them yet mate, thats why im wanting to know about those 2 specific models, i know they have been realesed in the states but wanting a release date here for the Excite 10 and 13 not the older toshiba model you get now

I could be quite interested in the 10" if the price is right, awaiting any news on there arrival into NZ. Being they have been in the states for a couple of months you would think we could have an e.t.a

Yeah thats right you would think, i see there rvial ACER has there new A700 http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/android-tablet-news/40805-acer-debuts-new-high-end-hd-ipad-competitor-iconia-a700-450-a.html its US price is $450 so that would be a nother tablet to watch.

Just as likely to have issues with Toshiba, and Dell.  Acer are actually pretty reliable.  There 5 year old+ stuff was shoddy, but their new stuff is fine.



Dell, and Toshiba on the other hand are getting worse and worse.



Asus and Samsung = still excellent




I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

We have an Acer Travelmate bought in early 2007 that shows no sign of slowing down. We have replaced the power brick twice due to the wires being damaged when tangled in ankles.....and some of the keys are bit tired (heavily used daily for several years)....(so we plug in a USB keyboard)...but the laptop itself just keeps on going.....

It runs both Win Vista and Ubunto 10.x very well.
