Was vaguely considering one of these:

http://www.pipo-store.com/pipo-m7-pro-3g-rk3188-quad-core-android-4-2-tablet-pc-gps-8-9-inch-ips-2gb.html

Anyone have any experience with them?

See this thread for experience with the Pipo M9. The RK3188 seem to be a good chipset for performance, but the M9 at least has some design and quality control problems.

I was interested in the Pipo m9 and was about to buy it when the m9pro came out.
It is hard to gauge how many problems there are, lots of people say it is great (the m9), and lots have had problems, the ones that have had problems, lots have been fixed by a custom ROM.
I am hoping the problems are fixed by the m9pro. The m8pro came out after the m9 and it is suppose to have very good quality.
End of the day, buying chinese is a gamble.  I have 3 chinese devices and happy with all 3.
I would wait though as I have read the first two batch are for beta testing.
