Just got a new chinese phone. Had it just over a week.
It is a zte v967s from www.merimobiles.com

spec
5" screen
1.2 ghz quad core
android 4.2.2 with custom rom
1 gb ram, 4gb rom
960 * 540 resolution
gps
fm radio
dual sim
5mp back, 0.3 mp front camera
2500 mAh battery
900/2100 MHz 3g

ok so not as good as a samsung galaxy but
i am finding it very fast and after 2 full days battery is on 40%
and it is only US $138

If anybody is after a good cheap phone then this one is great.

What bands to the Dual SIMs run on, GSM only??

Out of the box
3G Network:
900/2100MHz
2G Network:
850/900/1800/1900
one sim GSM only the other GSM or WCDMA
With the custom rom I have it is suppose to have 3g on both.
I have only tried it with 2 degrees and get better reception than my old phone.

Believe you need HSDPA 850/2100 for Telecom 3G, which would suggest this phone is no good for Telecom/Skinny.

Correct.
I thought 2100 works in main centres but haven't got that to work. Haven't been into the center of Christchurch yet.
2 degrees works very well.
