So with the recent announcement from Google about the launch of the Nexus 5X, 6P, Pixel C, etc etc... there was a very brief mention that Google Store will start selling wearbles as well which include the Moto 360, Huawei Watch and the Asus range.

I have a sneaky feeling this is only exclusive to the US market, (but more than happy to be proved wrong on this point), however upon doing a quick Google search this morning I found the Moto 360 listed as a sub-link in the Google Store.....

Am I dreaming or is it really possible to order wearable products from the Google store in the future??

I picked up the Moto 360 Gen 2 on my last US trip for US$299+tax. It was a gift from mhy daughter so I can't complain about the choice.

I got the basic model with the leather strap but knowing that it has to be taken off the wrist at least once every day or second day for charging I should get the metal bracelet so I ordered a cheap bracelet from Ebay.

When it arrived it was certainly cheap and not that good. I then had the thought of using a real steel band from my old but very good Omega Constallation Chronometer and lo and behold it works and fits like a chargem I also have the James Bond Omega Seamaster but that strip is a bit wider.

So using Watchmaker and an Omega Seamaster watch face and an original Omega bracelet, the watch like a real watch.

And since I have my watch set to have the screen dimmed all the time and only turn on the dial when my wrist shakes it, the battery life is almost two days. That's very satisfactory.
