So I stupidly dropped my phone by accident in Australia when on Holiday and it has a cracked glass. Touch still works but I'm expecting insurance to replace it.

I am trying to decide if I should just get another? I found that the edge wasn't really super amazing, and could live without it, but have enjoyed the screen. Battery life has been terrible.

I do love the physical home button and the fact from anywhere including locked I'd press the home button twice and near instantly get to the camera.

Other than that I am pretty much brand agnostic and will be happy to buy the "best".

I do want a decent camera, and I do want it to be very fast with an excellent screen. I'd prefer something that gets updates frequently and that has a reasonable following.

Waterproof and SD card are things I consider benefits but I didn't really miss them the want I thought I would.

And no, I still won't be getting a case :)

Callcom - they did a good job for my Mum. $80 or so. If you want frequent updates just throw on a vanilla ROM.

Having been disappointed with 2 flagship Samsung's I went with a lg g3. Haven't looked back. Even a g4.
Samsung's are over priced and overrated.
