I have a Samsung 6 E running 5.1.1
It was purchased from optus in Melbourne (I am based here for a couple of years) my settings are set AFST and location is Melbourne.
When I try to load someapps, fix sports 9now ANZ banking I get a message on playstore site saying Application not available in your location.
What is set up wrong. My Gmail account which was set up when I was on NZ is set to location Australia.

Any one got any advice on what I should change.

Happy.

I think its an unintended consequence of how Google try avert people using VPN's to access the US playstore etc..

Might be based off GPS location or something in addition to other things, but your best bet might be emailing Google Play support for assistance

Edit: Don't know if this helps https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/play/QXdA_Q3V1o8

For the record I am in Melbourne. Not using VPN or the like. Most apps run but a couple or annoying ones don't

Ah right, didn't read properly.. no idea then, probably a restriction set by ANZ preventing you from using the app outside of NZ? Which seems a bit silly..
