I used KingoRoot to root an HP 8 G2 tablet. This is the first time I've used the software, and the first device I've needed to root. A few apps got installed in the root process: Kingo ROOT, SuperUser and SuperBattery. The first was visible in the rooting process, and the second seems to have a genuine purpose even if it wasn't invited, but the third looked like straight bloatware so I uninstalled it. However, I still had the following screen appear when turning on the screen, which I don't remember ever seeing before the root.

Does anyone know where it comes from?

Looks like some sort of keyguard app? I'd recommend using a auto-start manager like SD Maid to see which apps are running at startup, and then delete or disable the offending entries.

Also, for future reference - use KingRoot instead of Kingo (and if possible avoid both - flashing a custom recovery and SuperSU is the best way to root).

Look up " super SU me " I used it on my devices after kingroot. It appears to be useful after kingo root also. It replaces the Chinese root manager with a regular SU
