Hi everyone....I am on a $19 carry over plan with 2 degrees and a light user of the internet on my PHONE...a little FB and looking up a little info, to the point where my 500MB of data would carry over untill I go over 3gb, but all of a sudden GOOGLE PLUS is just chewing up that data...I never used to have to turn off my data, but have done in the past month, but I am still just barely reaching the end of my data with Google Plus using up 95% of my data....WHEN I AM ASLEEP...I have turned off the background servcies. The foreground is using NIL data and the background all of it.
I have no photos synching.

This has only occurred in the past two months...I range 2 degrees and they said that alot of people are complained, and the girl gave me 200mb to see me through to my next carryover date...It is just rediculous Would appreciate any help or tips people can give me in plain language.

Couple of options here you can either restrict the app from all background data. Go to settings > apps > Google+ > Data "restrict background data" this means it won't use data unless you open it (bring it to the foreground)

Or... You can pop into settings > accounts > Google > untick Google+

Both these options mean that you will not get updates unless you open it.

Or you can go to apps and clear the data which is like resetting the app - this fixes most problems. And it means that you may be able to use Google+ again.

Or... If you have recently put movies or other media on your phone it could be attempting to upload this at night when you plug in to charge the phone? It might pay to check.

Can you PM us your number, 4 digit PIN and date you called us (if poss) please. No provider can force you to use your data more than usual so we'll be keen to look into who told you that and clear up any crossed lines.

I think Google+ use to handle photo backups to the cloud in older versions. Can you check the settings and see if it's set to upload over mobile data?
