Still not available in NZ it seems and havent been really won over by any of the places online. I did find it from $349 USD used on Amazon for the US branded version (Droid Turbo 2) but Im not sure if you can remove the Verizon bloatware. I believe even the Verizon version is actually unlocked, you just need to manually setup for LTE (via Access Point profiles).

Anyone got other options for me?

Ah screw it, bought a used Samsung S6 Edge+ on TM. At least this way I get to try out the Gear VR which I think will be great on long flights!

Mind if I asked what you paid?

This might be easier, text from auction:

Genuine Samsung Galaxy Edge+ 32GB!
Colour: black sapphire
Model: SM-G928I
4G
Works on all networks

Phone is in near perfect condition. There is one very faint scratch on the back, can only be seen in a certain light and one spot on the screen about the size of a ball point pen. Both are hardly noticeable and phone looks excellent overall.

Phone is near new, comes in original Samsung box with a charger and USB. There is no instruction manual or headphones included in this auction.

We will include a 3 month warranty for the winner.

Thanks for that. Just an FYI, ALL Samsung phones come with a 2 year manufacturers warranty.
