Hello everyone,

I just bought HTC 10 (imported from Taiwan) and found that there were no new security updates since 1st of 2017, despite HTC building almost monthly security updates.

Also, despite the fact that is works just fine with any NZ provider (so it is NOT carrier-locked), I can't install latest firmware since my phone has HTC Security feature ON (S-ON).

To make it S-OFF I would need to do quite a lot of things and may even need to purchase soft+hard tool from the Internet which cost $100 USD (or more).

Does not make any sense, since I need to do that (change CID and flash International firmware) only once.

Can anybody here (in Auckland I mean) can do that (for fee of course) ?

Can you recommend someone who is smart enough, has all tools, equipment and knowledge and won't brick my phone, please?

Thanks a lot!!

You should be able to get S-Off via HTCDev.com or using the (paid, but cheap) Sunshine tool.
