Apologies in advance, I'm new here and I believe this may be posted in the wrong section.

Don't buy from Mobile Station;

I ordered a Galaxy S7 Edge from the company a while back, received it early and with no issues, however more recently I ordered a second S7Edge for a friend and ran into a lot of issues. Upon order, the money was instantly taken from my account, I got an email telling me that the payment had been a success and a tracking number would be emailed to me once the item had been dispatched. The company assures that products will arrive within 3-10 working days. I ordered the phone in mid November, and am still yet to receive the device. Naturally things can be slower around the Christmas period but a delay of this length shouldn't be excused by that - especially with no explanation.

Naturally after becoming concerned of the whereabouts of the device, I emailed the companies support email address. This email was never replied to, so I followed up with a fresh email in hope that this time they would reply with some form of update, because the only thing I had heard from them in this entire process was a payment confirmation.  This email also did not receive any reply, I waited 2 weeks until I took further action. I then decided to call their Auckland number to try and find out what was going on, the phone was not answered on multiple different occasions - my last attempt to call them I was lucky enough to get an answer, the person who talked to me clearly wasn't from New Zealand, and the website heavily suggests that it is a New Zealand based company, after doing some digging I've found that it is located somewhere in China. I explained my situation to the man on the phone, he didn't understand English very well, I asked him if it was possible to have the device refunded, because as far as I'm aware the only thing that happened with this order was the transaction. He hung up immediately after I asked this, and I proceeded to attempt to log into my Mobile Station account on their website to try and see if there was any form of update on there, I was shocked to find that my account with them had been disabled.

I have seen very mixed reviews about this company, either very good or very poor. From my 2 experiences with the company, I would advise to avoid using Mobile Station, based on my experience and what I've read in similar reviews, they don't deal with negative situations very well at all. I think I'm going to get in contact with Visa and have the payment revoked. If anybody has any advice for me regarding this issue, I would love to hear it as I am not sure if Visa can assist me as well as I'd like,

Thanks.

Visa will refund you but it may take a while. Do this sooner than later or your claim might expire.

I could probably point to a few so called nz websites that don’t operate here.

Usually obvious when they are missing contact details... or check the companies website too.

I don't know if PriceSpy was part of your research, but they take feedback into account, and will cease listing companies with persistently poor feedback.

So have they responded since you deleted your post about them not responding?

Visa will do it easy. Make the call.

To clarify, I'm fairly sure you should contact whoever issued the card, not Visa.
