Hi All,

I am looking at purchasing a HTC Dream for use as a phone as well as developing/playing with the Android OS (other than just playing on the SDK/simulator) - so I would like to be able to load my Android based apps onto it...

* Just wondering if anyone has got a HTC Dream and what they think of the Android OS as well as functionality/build etc? I am actually hoping to get this from Singapore and use my Vodafone Prepay SIM on it.


* Second part is, has anyone developed and loaded their own Android software on to these phones? I assume it comes with a PC to phone cable (or as an accessory)

The going price for this phone is around : NZD 950 a bit on the high side - does anyone have an alternate out there with less of a hit on the pocket?
