I used the original app for 2degrees for ages, then found there was an upgraded app called NZ Phone Account.  I installed that last month and it worked fine, I noticed I had to tell it I was using 2degrees.

Today I noticed there was a new version so I upgraded to 1.43.206.
It didn't remember my settings which is a bit sad.
I put in my mobile number and password, couldn't see anywhere to tell it I was using 2degrees.
And now it doesn't work at all.

Anybody else have this problem?

Next I will try unloading and reloading the app

Cheers,
John

From memory it doesn't ask for it only the login (cell fone ) number and password. I have it running here on XT and that's I think is all I entered..  I suspect it may pick the carrier info from the SIM being used..

Hmm that's strange, i know exactly what you mean about the setup, originally you did need to tell it what network you were on, but mine is still working all OK after the update with just the number and the password.

Maybe try removing it and then re-installing it? is there a way to clear the data associated with the widget?

One thing I have noticed is the update system is flaky.. Sometimes you ccan manually update it and other times there seems no way of doing it..

So I completely uninstalled it and re installed it, it then asked for provider name which is 2 degrees, and now works.

I shouldn't have to re set it up on an upgrade.
