I've got an old Nilfisk Alto Active 2050 which stopped working. Google search indicates the pressure switch actuator is likely the culprit.
So, I've opened it up and sure enough the springs in the pressure switch actuator have rusted and broken apart. That's what happens when the springs are made out of mild steel in a wet chamber!!
The question is - is it worth repairing and can I get the replacement kit in NZ?
I found a repair kit on an Australian online retailer (vacuumdoctor) for AU$145, but at that price it's not economic to repair.
Thanks.
