Yum tongue-out

I did a slow roast lamb leg on xmas day in the BBQ with some mesquite chips for added smoky flavour and basted with a chimichurri (fresh herbs from the garden) after it had nice bark of smoke bark.  It was amazing.  Soooo much better than the ham.

I also did big chunk of scotch fillet this way last week for a lunch thing.  Great way to feed a crowd.

Did a bit of work on the fire pit - changed from the space you saw above to this now... Checked all bricks are the same type/size, made the whole area level, put some sand/stones/pavers, put new picket fence - overall it's a better "work area" now.

The water inside is my watering to settle the stones - obviously won't have water inside when using it tongue-out

There is a food truck that is often in the Viaduct/Silo Park that sells cooked Picanha if anyone wants to try it. Not too bad.

Oh do you know which truck/business it is?
