elpenguino: You can get solder on BNC, some of them are way easier to fit than they used to be.
Never had good luck with those, the dilectric will normally take a lot of damage in the process and the ones that the sheild is soldered thru a little hole normally the whole plug takes so much heat away that it doesnt stick without cooking everything.
