I ordered my Band2 from US MS Store at the start of November, and it worked fabulously for 3 months.
However in the past couple weeks i've had numerous issues with getting the band to charge (or hold a decent charge), silly issues where it will power off and eventually when i get it to turn back on (sometimes is a struggle) it will say the battery ran out, however it will also say it has battery capacity remaining (anywhere from 30-90%).
Unfortunately it is now at the point where i can't use it for more than a day (simply wearing it as a watch doesn't even work) as it will turn itself off stating the battery is dead. So now have to figure a way of returning it to MS (as i ordered it online and used YouShop to get it here to NZ).
Filling in their support form is not helpful, as all i get is this...
"In order to send in your microsoft-band for service, you’ll need to create a Service Order. Unfortunately, that functionality isn’t available yet for your country on this site. We apologize for any inconvenience."
So sad times while i try to get it sorted. But otherwise it was a fantastic device when it was working properly. :) Unfortunately it doesn't look like i'm the only person to have battery issues, with a few forum posts i've read where people have replaced their band 2 multiple times with the same issue.
My band as of last week is also suffering from same issue as is my cousins. Both ours started giving time/date resets with battery issues same day. Have to send it back to US
Just updated my MS Store profile with the YouShop address details, and it let me fill in the return form. Should receive an email shortly with return instructions.
