michaelmurfy:
Maybe I'm a bit of a prick driver, but nothing bugs me more than young people speeding past me when I'm doing the speed limit.
michaelmurfy: ...since I drive quite a powerful car sometimes if a boy racer tries to pass me and there's nobody on the road (plus I'm doing the speed limit) I try not to let them pass, but this is only if the guy behind me is being a bit of a prick. I then slow down to 5km below the speed limit each time he attempts it.
Maybe I'm a bit of a prick driver...

This behaviour absolutely does correspond to prisk-ish behaviour.
It ticks all the right boxes:
1) Sense of entitlement. (I drive quite a powerful car, so its ok for me to drive this way)
2) Arrogance. (the little boy racer doesn't deserve to be in front of me on the road)
3) Self Righteousness. (It doesn't matter that I'm creating a hazard for the driver behind me who is attempting to overtake)
4) Ignorance. (It's ok for me to exceed the speed limit for the purpose of keeping others behind my powerful car, but there is no possible reason for other motorists needing to travel faster than i am. Eg. perhaps a medical emergency, or some other extrordinary event)
Every time you do this, you are wilfully and deliberately increasing the frustration of another motorist on the road. The more you do it, the greater the risk that you will drive that frustration to a point where the other driver makes a *seriously* poor decision and crash. (Possibly involving yourself. Possibly involving a completely innocent 3rd party.)
...and the only reason you're doing it is for your own amusement or satisfaction.
I would encourage you to re-evaluate why you engage in this antagonistic behaviour, and consider a more responsible approach in future.
xpd:hio77:BinaryLimited: this would also work :) looks quite effective too
now, where to legally find one ;)
$2 shop - driving at 100kph with a madman waving a gun out the window, noones gonna get close enough to you to see its a plastic toy :)

You are a dangerous driver, if I tried to pass you and you did this a couple of times I might just slam you into the ditch.
