What are the extra costs such as customs and duties you have to pay if you buy something really cheap on amazon or Newegg?

Say its $100USD - Converted $150NZD
What will the extra costs add up to?

Thanks!

Once the total tax reaches $60 (ie. $400 worth of goods/services when there is no extra duty), you pay 15% + $49.24.

Use this
http://www.whatsmyduty.org.nz/

Make sure you put in what the item is as some items do have duty (shoes etc) but most things are fun as long as it's under the $400nz before GST/fees hit

Once the GST plus duty if applicable reaches $60 the addìtional Import Entry and Biosecurity fees total $49.24 GST Inclusive.

Quite right. I've edited my post and fixed the error (by swapping the numbers).
