Hi folks,

Can you change your ANZ credit card's billing address online to an overseas address on ANZ login portal without ringing the bank or going to a ANZ branch? Asking this because ASB does let me change my address for all my accounts via them to an overseas address as I have been able to use a lot of US services this way by quickly changing my Visa to an overseas address on my ASB portal, signup for the US service and then revert the address back to NZ stratight away and the US service still continues to work once it's registered the Visa. This has come handy to me many times and was wondering if the same is possible with ANZ online portal?

Looking at ditching my ASB credit card to go with ANZ's new Cashback Platinum mainly due to the fact ASB removed the banking redemptions from their True Rewards scheme and also the fact that you have to pay them $20/year to be part of their rewards program which is not that great anyway. I do not need Briscoes/Countdown vouchers.

Do whatever you want to do man.

From the ANZ online portal:

Change Contact Details
This form will update the address details across all accounts for this customer where you are authorised to sign alone. This includes Term Investments and Loans.

This form cannot be used to alter the postal/statement address for a particular account (where that address is different to the address for other accounts of this customer) or to update accounts that require more than one person to sign. You can contact ANZ Phone Banking on 0800 103 123 (International callers: +64 4 472 7123) to update your address and contact details. You can also visit your local ANZ branch to update personal and business addresses.

So based on that you could do it, depending on how many accounts you have and how worried about updating all your accounts? We have most of statements sent electronically anyway...

Yes, and it also says at the bottom of the ANZ change contact details page, "Please allow 3 business days for the change to be actioned", so expect there will be a wait prior to the address being changed.
