SJB: And a couple of questions.
Do you have to collect both frequencies in a single run? You could collect them in separate runs.?
And what's the name of your cable provider so I can name the tuning file you gave me properly.
SJB: Thanks. Your cable tuning file will be in the next release.
I think I will leave the tuning process alone after all. It's pretty complicated.
If you need to merge the xmltv files you can always input the xmltv file from your first collection into the second collection using the XMLTV tab in EPG Centre.
On another topic I assume you are collecting EIT data. There may be additional data in the broadcast such as cast/crew, star rating etc which EPG Collector is not currently processing.
If you can get me a 30 second stream dump (EPG Centre will do it) I'll take a look and see if there is anything.

SJB: I've looked at both those files and EPGC is already processing all your extra tags that are present in the EIT data.
You can see rating, star rating, credits, date and country of origin already being put in the xmltv file. Season and episode numbers are also being output. These look like series/episode links as they are not sensible numbers. There are no sensible season/episode numbers in the data.
There is a thumbnail specified in each entry (points to a jpg) but of course I have no idea where to download those from.
I think someone else from Brazil must have given me a similar file in the past. I wouldn't have included all the processing for the tags otherwise.
On a slightly different topic I got a lot of information about ISDB being implemented in Brazil some time ago. Did that ever happen?
