Maybe cut the head off it, and use it as a draw wire for a new one? Can you put another flush box on the other side of that stud?
chevrolux: Oh christ.... WHHHYYYYYY! Only ever run horizontal if you absolutely have to - like under a window for example.
Cut the GIB mate, you aren't pulling that out without breaking it. If it was just a normal cable you'd probably be fine. But the head will get stuck as it comes around that 90°

Why not use the cable as a draw wire without cutting the head off first, just to see if you can make it work? Tie another wire to it to draw it back if you can't get it to go. Wrap the head in something to smooth the rough edges and lubricate it to help it slide around tight corners. I have done something like this in the past. Sometimes pulling it back and forth can also get it around a corner. You have to try different things.
Plesse igmore amd axxept applogies in adbance fir anu typos
Someone with a thin hand/arm can potentially get it in the wall if you cut a slightly large hole down the bottom. That can help to push it through.
Definitely cut a new hole to the left of that stud somewhere, wherever you can cover it. Bring the cable out the left side rather than trying to get it back through the hole.
It's OK to go sideways depending on who you talk to (certainly not illegal), but angles are definitely something to be avoided where possible.
I agree that the ceiling space looks ample; I've done far worse.
What's actually directional about the cable? Is it the cable itself or the plugs at each end? If it was just the plugs, could you cut them off and then splice on new ones? I assume that's not the case, but thinking way outside the box.
Standard HD BaseT (or even non-HD BaseT cheapies... of which Aeon is one) won't handle CEC.
You need to be stepping up to the higher spec'd Valuns chips inside HD BaseT units to get CEC / ARC etc.
Pull the speaker wires out (and pull through a draw-wire so you can get them back in).
chevrolux: That looks like quite a lot of space. I've certainly snuck in to much tighter spots.
yep but you're a skinny bugger! lol
I know you have chosen a directional cable due to distance - but if you end up destroying/binning the current one - do you REALLY need a directional cable?
I ask as I recently installed a 4k projector at ours and used one of these:
https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CABAEN3839/AEON-CH110UP-10m-Installer-Series-High-Speed-HDMI
Cheap @ $37 and it passes 4k @ 60 without issue.
PS: Good luck with fixing the actual issue you are facing!
cut the 150x50 with skilsaw and smash it out replace it later
