I have purchased a new one plus one to replace my iphone 4s.  It arrived today and is bloody awesome, however, I put my micro sim into it but cannot make calls.  It comes up saying 'Emergency Calls Only Telecom NZ'.
I checked before purchasing to make sure it was compatible and have been on the phone with a helpful spark technician but cannot get it to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Would be good to know if anyone else has had this issue or if there are people that have had success with OPO and telecom (spark).

Where did you buy it from and what the specs listed on the box?

What's the model number? 2 of my workmates have a One and working fine, though not sure what model their is and what network they're on.

Need more information. You may have a variant that doesnt support our 3g/4g?

Interesting. There's another similar post in the Skinny subforum with same problem.

As above, more information please... Where did you buy it from, what variant, etc, etc.

My Oneplus is successfully working on Spark however I did have a problem with my old SIM (Telecom NZ branded, old). I think it is related to the old SIM's back in the dual IMSI days. Go into a Spark store and get your SIM replaced free of charge to see if that resolves it as it did with me.

Thanks for the replies.  Have had my sim for a while but have also tried one that is only a few months but still no go.  Will get a new one tomorrow and see if that helps.
Its from PBtech, 16GB, A0001.  Has support for GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and LTE.

I would hope (expect) that a phone bought boxed new from a shop wouldn't be blacklisted!

Just for the record - mine is a PBTech 64GiB so go get a sim swap done.

Unless it's a fake with cloned IMEI - it happened before.

Follow Michael's advice, get a new SIM.
