tchart: Is there a limitation on service locations for this product? The Skinny address checker says negative to both addresses I put in but the Spark 4G coverage map shows good/fair coverage for both addresses.
LivingSkinny:
To make sure our Skinny Broadband customers get the best speed as possible, you can only get Skinny Broadband in certain coverage areas despite being on the 700MHz network. These areas are sometimes different from the regular mobile 4G areas. The reason it's not available everywhere is that we need to be able to manage the network to ensure that all customers using the network receive a reliable and consistent service.

A coverage map would be helpful. I've tried 3 addresses (incl. one central Wellington/CBD) and the address checker says no on all of them.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
hairy1: Queen Street, Auckland worked for me.

so its 700MHZ only ? That might explain why even the very center of Queen St (Auckland) is no service.
knoydart: If you try to use your Skinny modem at a new address without telling us we may disconnect it from our network."
We use Spark's 700MHz, 1800MHz and 2600MHz frequencies.

Well your address checker is a bit broken then I would say, I have very strong Skinny mobile Service at home (about 500M line of sight to Spark tower) on two mobiles, but your address checker says no sericve. Not that I need any more Internet, just that it might be a good idea to make sure its all working as such (I know how hard it is to make these things accurate).
