zeroalpha: As for asking Telecom to swap the phone out... Eeeeekkk, I did that with the 6255, took me 7 months. They finally did it, but hell, its wasnt easy.
I had the 6255, and as well all know that is a biatch phone, took it back the day after I got it with problems. 7 months complaining later, I got in touch with the Stores Manager (like the manager of all stores) and after 5 days negotiating, settles on a new 6265 and I give them $300.00 Im feeling a litle ripped off right now.
All i managed with mine after all the problems was a supposedley new replacement from the repair agent, i only got it back 2 days ago after being wothout it for nearly 2months!!!!!! Expect this "new" phone has 42hours of calls on it. I should also note that it still doesnt send/receive MMS
zeroalpha:I feel you are speaking from experiance
All my experiences with the phone and Telecoms poor excuse for customer service have left a very bad taste in my mouth and i have gone from a very happy customer to very upset and angry over the whole affair to the point where i am considering legal action.
I had an Imation card that didnt work in my phone, worked fine in camera etc. Swapped it for a Kingston and it worked perfectly. I recommend you do the same!
