Ok so I'm an existing 60Gb Lightspeed Cable+HomePhone+TBox w/Sky customer and just tried calling to find out how much I'd have to pay to switch to one of the 80Gb plans (either the low speed or high speed ones)

First issue was after calling through to Sales and getting a NZ based person, she then transferred me to what I assume was the Philippines based call center where I got someone who unfortunately I had a very hard time understanding. (Not sure why the Sales people need to forward me off to someone else in the first place!)

I then proceeded to ask how much it would cost to switch to the 80Gb plan and what would I get that I don't already do today (apart from the obvious extra 20Gb). She then started telling me all about ADSL and MySky which of course wasn't much used to me.

Then I asked about the high speed cable plans and she looked up on the website and said that yes I could get high speed cable but then started trying to tell me that the $95 included free MySky HDi etc. (implying that Sky was included and wasn't an extra $45/month). From what she was saying, it sounded like she was reading from the vodafone.co.nz website just like me?!

At this point I politely said I'd think about it but really what I need is someone to talk with who actually knows the pricing and the terms and conditions etc.

What's the best way to get to speak to someone like that?

Now they owned by Vodafone they have access to the black helicopter :)

I'm guessing he just used your name in your profile and searched their system by name.

That is good to see but disappointing that ex-Telstra Clear stuff still hasn't been integrated into the Vodafone system very well, ie, the call centre staff should have just been able to help you...

I know that but Vodafone purchased Telstra Clear over a year ago. How long should it take to upload an internal page with all this information?
