Just thought I'd post this for those looking to sign up with Wxc/xnet.
I arranged for my broadband to be changed to Wxc on Tuesday this week. This was done by speaking with a customer service rep who called me after I had filled in the online app the previous day.
Today I thought I would ring and find out what was happening as I hadn't heard anything. I was told that my telephone numer had been rejected by telecom as an active line. This didn't suprise me as my home phone line is with Ihug which I explained to the csr the other day, in fact she made special mention of it as I filled out the telecom acct number section with all zero's.
Anyway the guy I spoke to today is going to put it back through as an Ihug number and hopefully I will get a call later today.
Whilst being dissapointed that the mistake was made in the first place and in the fact no one actually called/emailed me to let me know there was a problem I was extremely impressed when I called Wxc today.
My call was answered within 2 rings by a person!!!!! Yes a real live human being at the other end of the line. He apologised and as I stated above was going to try and sort it this afternoon.
This thread is not a complaint about Wxc, I accept that when humans are part of the chain mistakes happen. This thread is more to say that you don't really know what customer service is like until you have a problem. So far my customer service expierience with Wxc has been very positive.
Loking forward to getting ndsl in the new year.
