After returning from overseas, my previously working outlook 2007 stopped working on my Gmail and two domain accounts, an ISP based a/c is ok. I enabled 2FA , generated an app password which worked on the default a/c , subsequent attempts to do the same for the other accounts failed until I logged out of my Google account and logged in with account number two as the default which then worked but account one stopped working.
I gave up on that and in an attempt to make it work disabled 2FA and allowed access to less secure apps, That didn’t work either and I still get constant windows popping up asking me to sign in.
As it’s an old programme, I decided to upgrade and downloaded a trial version of office 365, I now have two Gmail accounts that work, the third and the domain accounts do not ,and I can’t even open the domain account folders as I get an error .
Also office 365 is missing files from 2013 to the present day, anyone any ideas how I can go about fixing this mess, it’s all been working fine for years ,and also no issues with email on iOS only Outlook.

I've seen a few posts about this this week. It seems that Google has decided that Outlook is "insecure". There's apparently an option in the Gmail settings to allow insecure access. I don't use Gmail myself so I can't give step-by-step instructions.

This happened to my wife's sports club Gmail account. I have to log into it and set the security up as less secure

Argh, sorry. First thing in the morning so I did a Ctrl-F for "insecure" which didn't find it :)

Gmail has gone nuts with its security
I had the same thing happen with a customer last week .

What you need to do , is login to gmail in a browser, gmail will want to send you a text/whatever to confirm its actually you . Once you've logged into gmail in the brower
Outlook will be unblocked .

Gmail is getting unusable for me because of this. If it detects I am logging in from a different location, it will block me . So , unsuable when out of office :-(

I am fairly sure I tried that but I have just logged in again from Safari , straight in and no security questions no text.
Every time I go into my Google account texts and emails” to make sure its me”

Have you tried creating an App Password and using that as the password to sign in?
