I'm responding to a general theme here, rather than any specific comments made, should be on topic though...
The popularity in criticising windows products is an interesting phenomenon. Personally I don't mind MS products (ok, Windows ME was just silly)...
Most the criticisms I see of Microsoft come from technically proficient people... This in itself is telling. Most people who use Windows (well many at least) are not technically proficient, and competing OS's just aren't easy enough to use... (MAC OS is probably the greatest exception to this)...
I use FF for some stuff, but I feel much more comfortable with IE... thing is, I just don't recall the last time it crashed...
it always works for me, and if I didn't need to switch User Agents sometimes I wouldn't bother with FF...
but I do need to, and for me that's when I need FF as a tool...
So basically the way I see it, you use the tools that work best for the job, and 95% of the time MS works fine for me...
