Satch: Since picking up a few of them during a trip to the US last year, I now buy Nordstrom brand non iron business shirts (Nordstrom is an up market department store in the US for those not familiar with the name)

I got my last lot via Youshop shipped to NZ. Nordstrom will also ship direct to NZ. I save a good $50 per shirt compared to the Geoffrey Beene non iron shirts I used to get at Smith and Caughey here in Auckland...
khull: I get all mine from the states - Once you own a couple ones you'd never look at local stores again, simply because they last through the wash/drycleaners compared locally. Also the cuts are better surprisingly, more athletic fit.
Martynnz: Rhodes and Beckett from Australia do nice shirts. Wait until sales when they have great deals. With any overseas shops watch out for customs charges as duty on shirts is 10% so you very quickly hit the limit (well below usual) at around $240 nzd.

This is primarily the reason I buy from the US, as a while ago their were regional differences between the same brand and sku of shirts which meant they were not as thick or long lasting as the ones from the US.

what about Australia? any good brands with nice cuts?
networkn: Nordstroms have some really nice shirts, their non iron are really good, but when I was in Hawaii a few months ago they were >100 USD and I couldn't really get my head around that when the VH Shirts are almost as good and at clearance are $20-25.
