Similar question.

Am I allowed to claim overtime for the extra hours in the following situation:

 - I work in a satellite office, and every 2-3 month I have to attend some meetings in the closest main office

 - Travel time is 1.5 hours between the locations, and most of the time the meetings start at 9am and finish not before 5pm.

 - Car and petrol is provided by the company

 - Basically I have to leave at 7:30 or earlier, and usually arrive home at 7pm, depending on traffic.

Are you normally able to claim overtime in your job or are you on a salary?

I can claim overtime, but usually only when it is billable work for a client.

The it depends what your contract says but generally it should be the same as your normal work.

There is nothing specific in my contract about this, just that I work 40 hours per week and flexible hours between 7am-7pm

In reality it is mainly a 9-5 job at 90% of the days, but some days maybe a bit early start and early finish or a bit late start and late finish.
