I would really like a small inexpensive quadcopter type drone with a small nerf launcher and camera that I can fly out of my office by viewing the camera, down the corridor into someone else's office, launch a missile at them then return to base.

Anyone?

This is why there is shortage of women in IT. They are worried about getting quadcopters entangled in their hair.

Arrived overseas and realised that I forgot to set my credit card to allow in-store international transactions. Fired up banking app with the free airport wifi, but that setting refused to 'take'. Fired up VPN and set to NZ, logged back into banking app, and all was well (bypassed geolock security?). Paid for airport bus with credit card.

The instructions on the packaging for a bar of soap:

"Apply to skin. Rinse off."

Every time I read this I imagine the scenario that led to this vital information being included on the packaging...

"Right, okay, so this new fangled soap thingy. How do you use it?"

"Uhhhh..."

"Come on! Think of the legal liability we might face if we unleash this product on the world and people don't know how to use it! They might try eating it, jabbing it into their eyeballs, who knows?"

"Ummmm...."

And then I think of the people who don't know anything about soap, and are desperately scouring the packaging, sifting through the loud logos, information about the product manufacturer, barcodes, etc, looking for that crucial piece of information in 6-point font on the flap-end of the box, that could mean the difference between clean and dirty. But thank heavens they were able to find this incredibly useful information...

The capacity of the human race for both incredible ingenuity and incredible stupidity always makes me smile.
