I had two RTA1320 and they both broke. I smashed both of them when they stopped working.. lol
so na.. why spend any money on it when i know they gonna break in a few months
Ragnor: The best setup for a home network imho, is:
1: Dynalink RTA1320 DSL modem
You can get them off trademe new for like $20, lots of ISP's give them out as the free moden when they connect hence there are usually heaps for sale on trademe. They support ADSL2+, ppoa half bridge and generally sync a strong high speed. They are cheap and if it breaks just buy another one for $20 off trademe.
2: Linksys WRT5GL with custom firmware (Tomato or DDWRT)
Half bridged from the RTA1320 so you only go through NAT once and offload all the smarts (DHCP, Access restriction, QoS etc) to the WRT54 which with custom firmware is much better suited to the job. then any consumer DSL modem/router.
