If it was me I would just cut at the same width as the un-concreted area and go out atleast 500mm. I say that because the sweeping bends are 300mm radius and you need a bit of room to get the pillars in properly.

Before you do that get a hold of the developer as this should have been done long ago.

Ok - I think what has happened is that the delevoplement has been in to stages

Part1 the subdivision and the installation of the driveway (services would have been run down the drive - the black power plinth installed and the two green conduits

It is likely then the developement has been on sold

Part 2 of the development - build the two houses and connect up the services to thoses already installed down the drive
Power - check
water - check
waste - check
Phone/fibre - ummmmmm - nobody neads a phone yet so nope
driveway put down - check

- so this is why now the driveway has to be cut away from around the ends of the conduits so that either

1: they can be joined together (flat) one to one house and one the the other and the service cables replace end to end

or

2: a pit/handhold is installed and the conduits are fitted into it and the service cables jointed properly and sealed

The later is more that likely what will need to happen here.

"Pillars (DPs) are no longer installed over service conduits in urban areas because they will later have to be removed to install fibre" as fibre, both blown and fixed, can't be bent around in a DP and has to stay relativly flat or have good arc angles (200-300mm Radius).

The Chorus' installers will also have to do some modifications to the conduit @ the side of your hse as Chorus's requirement is that the conduit above the ground is white not green (which leads me the think that your conduit was installed eithe by the plumber or sparky and not the local chorus installer (as they wouldnt have dont that sort of work @ either end - a Chevrolux :-))

Edited after reread for clarity
