Played online with COD4 last night and ended up being the host in ground war (18 players max) was awesome as it ended up being a nz/aus server only and was just fantastic ping... may have tried to invite anyone of you that was online at the time to :)

i was online and got ur invite, but the server was full at the time i tried to join.. psn needs the xboxlive feature where i can just join your game without having to get an invite.. (next your going to tell me i can somehow! lol)

Outta curiousity, is there keyboard/mouse compatibility in game? And if so, what's it like? Good?

No unfourtently there isn't support for keyboard & mouse in cod4, it would be nice to have, but then you would be at a disadvantage if you didnt have the k&m combo, so i can see why they kept it out.. You do get used to the controller and after a while become quite deadly with it (im not one of these however.. some people amaze me at this game, i would swear they are cheating with aim bots or something but know this isnt happening.)

Just had my best game.. 24kills and 5 deaths.. lol.. anyways thought id share that! thats enough of that, its time to go have a few beers! hopefully catch some of you's on cod over the weekend

Tried to join your game again last night pebbles, both times you invited me the game was full so couldnt join. they REALLY need to do something about the ability to join friends games, its fully luck of the draw as to if you will get in or not.

Had my first game online last night. Got totally destroyed. I'm still going to have to get used to it. Is there any way to get a listing of games, rather than just quick join/host?

I always seem to get 2 bars for connection =[

envy: no unfourtently there isnt a way to join games, other than quick join. im hoping this will be fixed in a future update! joinging american servers is a pain in the a$$, being able to sort games by ping would be fantastic! Also being able to join friends games without having to be invited.. im sure infinity ward no all bout this so its surely only a matter of time. It takes some practive to get used to, getting leveled up takes a bit of time, but once you are around level 10+ the good weapons become available along with perks.. i myself am only level 22 but havnt been playing all that long.. Add me and i might see you online tonight.

Best game type is Shipment on Headquarters. Always come out with atleast 50 kills, normally atleast 80.

hmm headquarters.. cant say ive played that much, infact off the top of my head i dont even know what that involves.. Im not a fan of shipment, or that other really small map with the cargo box's, im more of a open map sorta person! if you can throw a grenade from one side of the map to the other its too damn small.. but in saying that it would be good to level up on which was probably your point to begin with! LOL.. New maps go live in 2-3 weeks, i for one will be purchasing, how about everyone else? think they are going to be about $15 for 4.. GTA4 will be getting a fair bit of my time around then though.. damn infinity ward, why couldnt they drop them now to keep me going till gta4

As i said.. 4 maps (thats all, no new weapons etc, it would be impossible to manage for people that did and didnt buy the content) and its going for US$10 so i guess it will be about $15 here.. its quite sad that we have to pay for them, as UT3 maps etc are free? Would be good for sony to give it away, but can't see it happening.
The problem i see is when they do go live a lot of people will get them and if you dont have them you will miss out on a lot of games..
