msian: thanks everyone. for the input. PS3 certainly does sound like a good choice as I agree with you guys, it has blueray and other caps as well. On that note, by using Blueray movies, or PS2 games, or CD's will the lens wear down eventually? Someone told me PS2 has some sorta double lens, and if I play PS2 Games on PS3 alot, it will wear out the lens. And PS3 has only 1 lens. Is this true?
Mark:
Personally, I've got a Mac, a PC, an XBOX, a PS3, a high-def 42" LCD and a reference quality sound system, all wirelessly connected and making sweet digital love to each other. I find that covers all the bases!
I've got to ask .. what is a "reference quality sound system" What differentiaites it from not reference quality ? (apart from $$$$ I assume)
