Division and D2 rank amongst some of the best games I've ever played. Single player though.
Fully comes alive under multiplayer co-op.

Yup, end game content in D1 and D2 are great fun. Just wish I had someone to do it with lol
Elden Ring - Reviews are positive but one thing and one thing only ensures I'll never play it.
No Quest Log, No Markers, or Journal, no thanks.
There was a Isometric RPG a few years ago, spiritual successor to the Never Winter type games that looked fantastic but had the same thing, and it was so frustrating and annoying to not know where you had to go to do something, I'll never play another game like it again.
Decided to jump back into Destiny 2 after a long absence. Started from scratch, forgot how enjoyable the gunplay mechanics were. I have Forsaken and Shadowkeep as DLC so will plow through and see if the enjoyable lasts beyond the first couple hours.
Yeah, I loved the feel of the gunplay in D2.

I'm wary more from the sense that I've never played a FromSoftware game as their reputation is too intimidating. Hopefully this is a more accessible game than their other ones. Chances are slim though.

Apparently it's the hardest yet, couple reviewers already stated they took a couple days to beat some bosses and had to put the controller down and come back because they were getting too angry. I don't see the enjoyment in that personally.
Right, I'll stick with Horizon then.
Does anyone know how the summoning pools work in Elden Ring? There's the 'classic' method of putting down a sign and having someone summon you, but there's also a new system. I can use the Small Golden Effigy to basically say "I'm willing to randomly join a group and help" but how do you do the opposite and 'host' one? In other words, how do you say "I'm looking for players to join my group"?

So does it (the effigy) just put your summon sign in front of every pool you've activated? I was actually starting to suspect that after I asked the question, and it sounds like it is indeed the case.
I've been summoned 'across the map' as it were, so it does seem to be everywhere.
Thanks for the explanation :)
