Yep - the Fibaro module is in complete control of the load (i.e. the lights). It can take control signals either directly via the wall switch, or via the ZWave network. It is because of this that the device always knows exactly what state the light is in - this means you get real time feed back of the device state in your home automation software - i.e. if you manually dim the lights at the wall switch your automation UI will be updated as it happens - thanks to the device broadcasting its new state back to the ZWave controller in your network.

I used these ones - http://www.pdl.co.nz/product-details.aspx?rcat=products&catid=1216&id=1968

Awesome, many thanks. When I read the Fibaro manual they also have a stair mode (Hallway as well) so it can work with a system with a switch at both ends. That's quite a cool feature and something I'd need for the hall.

Yep - all these Fibaro switches work with multiple switches - I don't have any of my dimmers hooked up that way, but most of my 2x1.5kW relays have multiple switches. It really is a beauty of this stuff, once they are installed everything just works as though there is nothing different. The fact they are completely hidden is a big part of the appeal IMO. No need to change switch plates or add additional switches.
