insane: I'm not sure how their law works but I do know that if you purchase something from someone in NZ for far less than what you know it is worth, the seller who is being duped can have the sale annulled. (one of the few things I took remember from my .101 law paper at uni)
Obviously Apple would just bleed them dry through ongoing litigation until that company is no more.
Aaroona: Its the same with Chinese knock offs, They say its okay for a chinese company to infringe on others products, but the moment someone "infringes" on theirs, they scream foul and fine you a bajillion yuan. (which is exactly how I feel when I read this... Yawn)
If Apple lose, its not even really a needle prick to their 'empire'. So i'm sure Apple aren't worried other than its a brand tarnishing thing.

no no no no ... chinese companies never infringe. they are all investigated, but never found to infringe. never. ever. unless of course, one of 2 things occur: the company fail to bribe the investigator; a rival pays a bigger bribe to the investigator.

UPDATE 2-Apple's China legal battle over iPad spreads to US http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/24/apple-proview-idUSL2E8DO0VU20120224
Can't see them winning in the US though.
