We've had the Cola, we've seen the ad, when are we going to see the airline???

Is that you Richard?

He used to own a MVNO in Aussie now owned by Optus. Perhaps they are expanding into Australia.

a couple of dozen people (including some 2Degrees employees) posting on an internet forum within a section specifically dedicated to all things Degrees demonstrates that a national marketing campaign is working? okaaaayyyy.

(not to say it isn't working,  I just think the whole "hey we're talking about it so it must be working" thing is largely bullcrap.)

the thing that I have learned about technology marketing is that I'm not their target market and probably you aren't either

but a number of my friends outside the technology industry have asked me about 2degrees recently, seen the ad with Rhys doing stupid stuff and cola and aeroplans etc

so that, getting their brand name, logo etc out there is indeed working

for all I know that is what their marketing plan was, to do something weird with a stupid ad and wraps around pepsi cola, low cost, high ROI, blah blah
