I have always hated schools because they have no money and you spend ages cleaning up after students, only to find a teacher that wants to know why her ipad cannot accept cd-roms but wants to load a game designed for windows 95 onto all of them.

I think if there is a change to N4L and they are standardising everything in every school, then it can only be a good thing.

Previously the school had no money or worked in their own limited budgets.

Some schools were great at I.T and others were severely lacking.

But now if the government says "Here have a bunch of free services" or the government is spending a bunch of money and the school can either take it or leave it, their only option is really to take it.

By moving every school into the same platform, systems etc, students get more equal access to IT- especially in an area where enrollment zones prevent your child from going to one of the previously "good" primary schools with the IT because you lived out of zone.
