Having just spent quite some time trying to assist a friend as to why his documents were being overwritten in OneDrive when using Office 365, be wary of this "feature"

IMO the writer of this article is just using "bad computing practice" and leaving his saving to the end, where as documents should be saved FIRST, before any changes are made. We've all got into this slack habit of not saving our docs until we've finished typing, when we should be saving them before we even start typing.
Also, OneDrive/SharePoint saves multiple file edits, even the autosave ones so previous versions can be easily retrieved via. Version History, but it appears that the writer doesn't know that.
Typical of the type of blogger who blames Microsoft for their own lack of knowledge.
