UHD: Has anyone used this product? I am looking for some LED bulbs (previous owners took the old incandescent ones 0_o) and they seem pretty decent. The 11 pack works out to be 13.64 per bulb which isn't bad. All of the light fittings at my place are the old bayonet ones and it looks like those are standard bayonet caps. Anything else to look out for or other recommendations?
Unknown brand compares to a philips or panasonic. Check the pricing of panasonics at PBtech before rushing off to get those. Philips at bunnings arent too bad priced either, and seem to be ok lifespan wise.

Lower voltage lights are typically more efficiant. You need to compare with another 230v 100w lamp, not a US source of information.
I have been thinking about replacing my CFL with LED Lighting. I like about 100W per Socket for the main rooms but it seems that most of the major manafacturers are able to get to about 60W right now. I saw one guy at the show with a 8W LED and he claimed 100W equivilent but I wasn't sure.
On of my staff said LED Lighting was hard to work with due to something to do with it's uneven wave form or something, and said that as far as he was concerned flourescant non flicker lighting was the best kind of lighting followed by traditional lights (Non energy efficient ones).
I was curious to know what others had to say.
I like cold white light in my work areas (Home Office/Kitchen) The rest of the places warm white light.
I have been changing over my entire house to LED's . Had no issues. I prefer warm white in all areas and where ever possible, I use Philips 14 watt 1440 lum bulbs , where I want bright light. My lounge are all 9 watt Limitless in downlights, which change colour and dim for mood lighting. I have not at any stage found them hard to work under and I am in my 60's. Even my outside lights are all now LED.
I am extremely happy and Bunnings have 6 watt ones for under $6.00 as well
Crap LEDs are very weak in the orange and greens, basically being blue with added yellow so things look aweful under them. Then there is the 100Hz flicker that crap LEDs have. Look out for anything promising driverless to be a problem for that.
A friend got some fancy high CRI LED's and he swears they are better. I didnt spend enough time with them to really notice any difference, but for sure the cheap LEDs will have everyone looking like a zombie under them since they grey out skin colours.
I'm going to pick up one of the OSRAM 14W lamps to test out in a few rooms since I have a couple of areas I need brightly lit anyway. If I like them I might just stick with them or even Panasonic/Philips. Unfortunately, it is tough to test a bulb without paying for it first and they are a little pricier than the $2.50 bulbs I have bought till now. =/
