UHD: Has anyone used this product? I am looking for some LED bulbs (previous owners took the old incandescent ones 0_o) and they seem pretty decent. The 11 pack works out to be 13.64 per bulb which isn't bad. All of the light fittings at my place are the old bayonet ones and it looks like those are standard bayonet caps. Anything else to look out for or other recommendations?
UHD: Yep, though their site says that 100W incandescent bulbs are more like 1350 lumen. Also, would the beam angle not reduce this issue?

US Dept of Energy say ~1600

Beam angle is really only helpful with recessed fittings, you didn't mention the fitting, So I assumed it was a common bayonet rose, which is pretty onmidirectional...
networkn: Hi There!
I have been thinking about replacing my CFL with LED Lighting. I like about 100W per Socket for the main rooms but it seems that most of the major manafacturers are able to get to about 60W right now. I saw one guy at the show with a 8W LED and he claimed 100W equivilent but I wasn't sure.
On of my staff said LED Lighting was hard to work with due to something to do with it's uneven wave form or something, and said that as far as he was concerned flourescant non flicker lighting was the best kind of lighting followed by traditional lights (Non energy efficient ones).
I was curious to know what others had to say.
I like cold white light in my work areas (Home Office/Kitchen) The rest of the places warm white light.
