Company director and single shareholder is Roxana Josse who also works as massage therapist in different business owned by Krishneil Von Roy Reddy. I have reported this scam to CERT and NetSafe. MyBkxNZ was super fast to provide invoice but as soon as I made payment they stopped all communication. No replies to emails and they are ignoring me on their chat box
I don't think either of those companies are the right place, since the site hasn't been hacked, and you are not the victim of a cyber-crime. I would think the correct place is the Commerce Commission, since you have ordered something online that hasn't been delivered.
Both CERT and NetSafe confirmed this is indeed something they want to know about and will investigate. If you visit CERT web page you can see the option to lodge case of online scam and I spoke to both of them first explaining what happened and they told me to go ahead.

They claim that the company was sold In late April to some Chinese outfit for millions, and that they would complete the transaction within 90 days, ( late July)...

I guess we have a different definition on online scam. To me an example of an online scam is when you visit a site that pretends to be a legitimate site, but isn't (i.e. a phishing site), In this case, you have visited the real site, and simply not received the product you have paid for. To me, that's not an online scam, simply bad business. Good to hear that CERT and Netsafe are going to investigate anyone. Neither of them have any power to take the website down, so I'm not sure what they intend to do.
I requested to Join Any Issues with MyBoxNZ Facebook group and still waiting for approval. Winning on Small Claim/Dispute tribunal does not mean person will recover the money, company might just show no assets. The MyBoxNZ is as dodgy as and my only regret is not doing my homework before making deposit. Not delivering the product and not replying to emails is new low and I hope one day he gets what he deserves. What I don't understand is he still operates from Hamilton and scamming people out of pocket is a big risk. You never know who you are dealing with and what some people are prepared to do to recover their money.

You might be 100% right and I am not sure either but CERT representative told me they might refer it to police as receiving money but not providing goods is definatively consider as scam and criminal offence. I honestly doubt police will do anything about it. I am just going by what CERT told me, rep said they do have power to take site down to prevent future scams.
Exactly, I doubt they will ever get the money but if I can least shut him down from trading and dodgy practice I will be happy. What I don't understand is how can he feel safe knowing he is swindling people for money.

What a absolute load of bollocks. The site is hosted on a .com domain name, and no NZ authority has the ability to take down a .com site. The registrar is also not NZ owned, so is no help there. I guess they could go to a court in the US to get the site blocked (like the FBI ceasing pirate domain names), but that is not cheap. And while some ISPs do implement the child exploitation filter, there are none that I am aware of that (currently) block other sites. Neither am I aware of any laws that would force ISPs to blocks certain sites.

The correct place is the CC but they are unlikely to do much (in my experience). Under-resourced, and they are currently prosecuting Noel leeming and Apple so doubt they have time.

There's not much the government can do, considering the business is now run by a Chinese based owners (https://myboxnz.com/controversial-business-my-box-sold-to-chinese-buyer/). Pretty much like Viagogo being overseas based, and all the issues with scalped tickets, and duplicate sales. Comcom / Scamwatch (part of MBIE) can issue warnings, but have no power to take the site down.
